2019 Chenin Blanc

The vigorous Chenin Blanc vines which made this wine are grown on our Cerro Santo estate vineyard, whose soil lends distinctive aromas to our award-winning Texas grapes, differentiating them from their French or South African cousins. We’ve made our 2019 vintage in a dry style, with bright, vibrant aromas of yellow apple and citrus blossom, followed by appealing buttery flavors balanced by sweet Meyer lemon. Our lovely Chenin Blanc pairs well with pulled pork, fish tacos, and creamy cheeses like brie and havarti.
 
Our 2019 Chenin Blanc was Reserve Texas Class Champion and won a Silver medal at the Houston Stock Show & Rodeo Uncorked Wine Competition in 2020. In September of 2022, it was selected as one of the top 12 wines in the Uncork Texas Wines competition by Texas Monthly, and was included in a curated case of the 12 best wines in Texas.
